I have known Yigermal since October 2009, when I was first time in Ethiopia with a group of ten people from Slovenia. He was our guide around the northern and southern part of Ethiopia for two weeks. He has an excellent knowledge of his county & he is very kind and helpful. Therefore was our travel very interesting and exciting. We spent in the Simien Mountains National Park two days also. There were a lot of flowers and green everywhere, but the best thing was the spectacular views of mountain ranges and rugged escarpments. I was so delighted that I want to see the Simien Mountains once again. My dreams came true when Yigo organized my trek through the Simien Mountains in March 2010. The goal was Ras Dashen (4543 m), the highest pick of Ethiopia. For the height and strong sun it was very tiring but I can't forget the magnificent landscape. Especially walking from Sona to Mekarebia was for wonderful view of the Imet Gogo and the other mountains unforgettable for me. I saw the archeological site of Axum, where I was enthusiastic about the stellae, the largest single pieces of granite stone standing anywhere in the world. The last two days I spent in the Aregash Lodge, which are located on the south central part of the country. I was surprised again to see a lot of animals and green landscape. I was amazed at his excellent services through the whole travel. Thanks a lot!

I have known Yig since 2005, he is a fantastic tour guide and a good friend. My brother came to Addis when I was working there and he organised his time and showed him the important sites within the city. I think any trip with him would be truely enjoyable. He has a good understanding of what people want to see and the qualifications to put it into action. I am envious of anyone who can be part of one of his tours!

During a week in February 2009, me and my wife and another couple visited Ethiopia. At the Addis Abeba airport we were met by Yigermal who was to be our guide. We immediately got very good friends. He and his driver took us to the southern parts around Arba Minch. Among lots of things we had some unforgettable visits to the Dorze and the Konso people. Yigo speaks good English, and it was easy to learn of all the aspects of life in Ethiopia.

I have known Yigo for four years now and, as well as being a friend in Addis, he has often provided me with useful tour/travel-related services. He has helped me by arranging good-value car hire and taking visiting friends on city tours and longer trips out of Addis Ababa. He was particularly great when I had 25 visitors come to Ethiopia for my wedding in 2008 - they found him to be an excellent guide during their time here.
